Sportswomen Miesha Tate

 

Miesha Theresa Tate, born on 18th August, 1986 is an American mixed martial artist. Tate is currently competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and was the former UFC Women's Bantamweight champion. Tate was previously a competitor for Strikeforce where she is a former Strikeforce Women's Bantamweight Champion. She was also the vice president of ONE Championship. She is currently ranked 10th in the UFC women's bantamweight rankings on October 3, 2022.



 



 Early life



 Tate was the daughter of Michelle Tate and Robert Schmidt. Tate was born in Tacoma, Washington. As a teenager, she was a tomboy She often hung out with the boys in her neighborhood on playgrounds.
